Sub: GVWV & VSWS Department – Promotion of E-Mobility – Providing of Electric two wheelers to the village/ward secretariats and other Govt. Employees on EMI amount from salary of individual employee based on the undertaking of the individual employee and recommendation to the DDO in A.P. – Forwarded for communication and necessary action - Regarding.

In the above 1st reference cited, the Special Chief Secretary to Govt., GVWV & VSWS Department, A.P. Secretariat, Velagapudi, Guntur District has forwarded a copy of letter of above 2nd reference cited and requested to take necessary action in the matter as per yules in vogue under intimation to the Government. (Copy enclosed)
In the 2nd reference cited, the VC & Managing Director, New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited, Tadepalli, Guntur District has informed that, as per the E-Mobility policy objectives of the Government of AP to phase out all fossil fuel based commercial fleets and logistics vehicles, it is proposed to promote E-2 wheelers and NREDCAP has formulated a scheme for Government employees to arrange E-2 wheelers on EMI basis etc., And further requested that, suitable instruction may kindly be issued to all DDO in your department to allow their staff and officers for voluntary opting of E-2 wheelers under EMI scheme to achieve environmental and economic benefits.
Therefore, all the Joint Collectors (VWS & D) in the state are requested to communicate to village/ward secretariat employees and their DDO’s on the above Government scheme and take necessary action.
