ORDER:
In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty, A.P., Vijayawada in the reference 3rd read above and after careful examination of the proposal contained therein, Government hereby issue the following revised eligibility criteria for extension of Social Security Pension benefit to Single | Deserted Women under YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme in supersession of the orders issued earlier in the G.O. 1st read above:
Single Women: Married women who are separated/ deserted shall have above 50 years of age as on date of sanction. The separation period shall be more than 1 year in the case of Single Women of who has separated from her husband or whose husband has deserted the women. The women is required to produce a copy of the decree of divorce from the Court or Adalat.
Unmarried women who are having 50 years of age and above in Rural and Urban areas and having no support of the family, shall produce the unmarried certificate from the Tahsildar. The certificate is valid for a period of one year.
In case of beneficiaries who remarries or gets any Employment or economic stability after the sanction of Pension, the benefit shall be discontinued after ascertaining the status. This shall be done on every month by the Pensions Disbursement officers.
The modification criteria are applicable prospectively.
2. The Government also hereby amend the GO.Ms.No.174 PR&RD (RD.I) Dept. Dt. 13.12.2019 as mentioned below:

- iv) The beneficiary, single women should not be enrolled in any other Social Security Pension Scheme or should not be a pensioner in any of the public or private pension scheme.

At point 2 (j) of para (4) in G.O.MS.No.174, PR & RD (RD.I) Dept., Dt:13.12.2019 regarding category wise eligibility in respect of Single Women Pension: FOR | READ |
Single Women: Married women separated/ deserted above 35 years of age as on date of sanction of pension and the separation period shall be more than 1 year. Unmarried women who are having 30 years and above in Rural and 35 years and above 1n Urban areas. | Single Women: Married women who are separated/ deserted shall have above 50 years of age as on date of sanction of pension. The separation period shall be more than 1 year. Unmarried women who are having 50 years of age and above in Rural and Urban areas. |
3. The Chief Executive officer, Social Elimination for Rural Poverty, Vijayawada shall take necessary action accordingly.
